CURVES AHEAD IS A COMMUNITY THAT EMPOWERS LOCAL WOMEN THROUGH CURATED ACTIVITIES BOTH ONLINE & ON-SITE
We realized there was a void in our community.
After endless conversations with friends, family, and co-workers; we realized that there was a huge void in our community. There were zero opportunities in our own backyard for real women to come together to support one another and connect with the nationwide body positivity movement. So.. we decide to create one!
Melissa DiMercurio, a public relations expert, entrepreneur and passionate curvy girl partnered with her friends at SR Studio, a contemporary portrait studio and salon in Boonsboro, Maryland, to create Curves Ahead.
Curves Ahead is a community that empowers local women through curated activities both online and on-site.
As we continue to nurture this empowering community, we will be planning on-site events (happy hours, conferences, runway shows) as well as facilitating online activities (webinars, live streaming interviews and more) to bring these women together on a consistent basis. All designed by us for you.
We all deserve to feel beautiful, worthy and supported - at any age or any size.
Building the Curves Ahead Tribe
We gathered local women in the area to be our Curves Ahead brand ambassadors to help us get the word out in our community.
Over the past several months we launched the Curves Ahead Tribe through our social media channels in which 500+ women have been following along and subscribing to learn more about our community.
Our mission is to listen to their needs and let this tribe of women continue to guide us. This will be an ever-evolving journey that we are excited to help provide to the Maryland area.
We want to thank all of the women that have supported us as well as the businesses that have jumped to our side to provide us with things we needed to get Curves Ahead off the ground.
